  • Director of Bands
  • Greenwich High School
  • Greenwich, CT

Mr. Yoon has been in the music department at Greenwich HS for 18 years, all the while actively supporting fundraising to supplement district funding and defray the cost of festival trips and instruments.

"In Greenwich, we do music department fundraising through concerts, as well as through sales of poinsettias and magazines. In the old model for magazine sales, kids had to carry flyers and forms, and keep their own records of who bought what. It was a cumbersome system."

"At first, ClassClick seemed almost too good to be true - but it made sense to use technology so kids don't have to go door to door."

"Now that we've run a ClassClick campaign, I can tell you that this is how a magazine driver should be. ClassClick eliminates a lot of the difficulties of a traditional magazine drive. It's easy to use, runs smoothly, and provides great organization. ClassClick is the way to go."

  • David Stradling
  • Pastor of Student Ministries
  • Hillside Church
  • Armonk, NY

Pastor Stradling is responsible for the spiritual teachings of middle school and high school students at Hillside Church, including everything from class instruction to special events and trips. Remarkably, the Pastor returned to the U.S. from a trip with college students to Haiti, investigating opportunities to develop and support a series of small orphanages, just 24 hours before the resent earthquake. His group returned to Haiti shortly thereafter, helping to shuttle flights in and out with doctors and medical supplies. The support for orphanages was fast-tracked, and fundraising efforts were undertaken. Following the ClassClick campaign, the group raised enough money to start building the first of the orphanages.

We started fundraising for the orphanages through hardcopy letters that went out to our membership. We received donations from that campaign, and we had some people who forwarded the letters and expanded our reach to a certain extent.

Then we learned about ClassClick, and launched a second campaign over the internet.

What I like about ClassClick is that rather than simply asking people to reach into their pocket, they can donate money and at the same time getting something back for their donation. They spend the same amount of money on the subscriptions that they would otherwise order, but roughly half the money goes to our cause.

ClassClick is easy to use - we distributed the campaign to the entire church membership through email - and we had a much stronger 'pass along' effect made possible by the online format of the campaign, compared to the impact of the hardcopy campaign. I also liked how the software tracked our progress toward our goal."

Ms. Maximo Zeisset has been at Dover High School for nine years, six of those in the Business Department. She works with the department to raise funds for competitive field trips, in which the students compete in business knowledge and skills with students nationally. She recently conducted her first ClassClick fundraising campaign.

We've always raised money to support extras like field trips and competitions. Traditionally, we've done bake sales and catalog sales with products like candy and wrapping paper.

"What I like most about ClassClick is that you can earn more money, with less effort, compared to traditional fundraisers.

"For example, the dollar volume of magazine sales is often higher than candy and many other products, and you earn as much as 50 percent back on the magazines, so you can earn more money with fewer sales on ClassClick.

The website is easy to use, very professional, and it lets you personalize each fundraising campaign. Our ClassClick campaign looked great and worked great!"

I definitely see us using ClassClick in the future for other fundraisers!"
